Job summary

Hawksmoor is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen in London. You’ll help keep the kitchen immaculate, support chefs during service and assist with basic prep, with a strong focus on hygiene and efficiency.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone reliable who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a close kitchen team. Training is provided, and prior kitchen experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Reliable and hardworking, with willingness to get stuck in.
• Comfortable in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong team player who takes pride in doing things properly.
• Organised and able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and organised throughout service.
• Wash dishes, pots and kitchen equipment to a high standard.
• Support chefs with basic prep and general tasks when needed.
• Manage waste and recycling responsibly.
• Assist with deliveries and stock organisation.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
