Job summary

The Ivy Asia in London is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist with basic prep, and support efficient operation in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience is required, making this a great entry point into hospitality.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required, though kitchen experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Good health and safety knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies in designated areas.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste in designated waste areas.
• Support kitchen staff by performing basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients.
• Ensure chemicals and cleaning equipment are continuously stocked, i.e. blue roll & sanitizer.
