Job summary

The Club Company in Nottingham is seeking a motivated Kitchen Porter to support food preparation and ensure the smooth running of our kitchen. You will assist with obtaining ingredients, clean equipment, follow recipes, and help maintain a hygienic, safe workspace.

You'll work as part of a busy chef team across a prestigious golf and country club, with shift patterns including evenings and weekends. The role offers benefits, hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain hygiene standards.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with obtaining ingredients and small equipment for food preparation.
• Clean food preparation equipment and maintain a tidy, safe kitchen environment.
• Follow standard recipes and ensure food prep is executed to Club specifications.
• Practice safe and sanitary food handling; wash crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.
• Clean storage areas, manage waste and ensure utensils are stored properly.
• Support the chef team and participate in departmental meetings.
