Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our restaurant teams, help keep kitchens clean, and ensure meals are presented on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with dishwashing and general kitchen duties while upholding high hygiene standards.

Previous food service experience and a willingness to learn are valued; opportunities for training and career development are available through our Academy and staff programs.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in food service.
• Knowledge and understanding of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties.
• Ensure smooth running of restaurant operations including cleaning, dishwasher operations and equipment availability.
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure your customers are presented with their meal to a high standard and on time.
• Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens and health & safety.
