Job summary

Andras Hotels is seeking a Kitchen Porter for Holiday Inn, Belfast. You will support the kitchen team to keep cookware and surfaces clean, assist in other duties when needed, and help maintain high guest service standards in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team.
• Experience in hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry and store crockery, cutlery and glassware.
• Operate plate and pot wash machines and perform daily maintenance.
• Clean kitchen to a high standard of hygiene and sanitise surfaces.
• Assist with cleaning of front and back of house as needed.
• Accept deliveries and store goods per health and food safety rules.
• Follow SOPs and health and safety guidelines.
• Report any broken equipment to the Senior Chef.
• Wear appropriate uniform and name badge at all times.
• Maintain tidy and safe staff/work areas and report hazards.
