Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. is hiring a Kitchen Porter to support our restaurant teams and deliver great customer experiences. You will assist with general kitchen duties, maintain hygiene standards and ensure smooth service during busy periods.

You'll work as part of a kitchen team, learn about dietary requirements and allergens, and uphold health and safety rules. Experience in food service is preferred and enthusiasm to grow with us is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in food service.
• Knowledge of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.
• Passion for delivering great customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties
• Ensure smooth running of restaurant operations including cleaning, dishwasher operations and equipment availability
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure your customers are presented with their meal to a high standard and on time
• Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens and health & safety
• A team player and confident communicator who is eager to learn new skills and gain new experiences
• Flourish in a busy, fast-paced environment
