Village Hotels is seeking a proactive Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy shifts. You will own the dish pit, clean and stack equipment quickly, and support the brigade to ensure the team has what they need.

You will handle deliveries, verify invoices, and maintain high hygiene standards in line with COSHH. This role is on-site and vital to daily kitchen operations, with opportunities to grow within the team.

Competenze

• Experience in a kitchen porter role or similar duties.
• Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for long periods.
• Attention to hygiene and safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

Mansioni

• Manage the dish pit and assist chefs with timely washing and stacking of equipment.
• Check in deliveries and verify invoices to ensure correct items received.
• Maintain hygiene standards and safe handling of cleaning chemicals per COSHH.
• Fetch and carry food, store equipment, and support brigade to keep service flowing.
