Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Kitchen Porter for the team at Hatherop Castle School in Cirencester. The role runs Monday to Friday, 10.30am–7pm, totaling about 40 hours a week, with 33.6 school weeks plus holiday pay. You will keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service, supporting a busy catering team.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, retail, or customer service is helpful but not essential.
• Willingness to follow food hygiene and safety standards.
• Reliability and pride in maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Washing pots, pans, cutlery, and crockery using an industrial dishwasher or by hand as required.
• Checking incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is correct, and storing it safely.
• Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times.
• Supporting the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and high-quality service to all customers.
• Internal deliveries to service area.
