Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter based at IWM Duxford to support a busy kitchen team on a zero-hour contract. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment and contribute to delivering exceptional food service for Restaurant Associates Venues.

The role requires a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, ready to follow Hygiene, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations while upholding the brand's professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Ensuring kitchen work areas, equipment, and storage spaces are kept clean, organised, and hygienic.
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required by the kitchen team.
• Supporting the smooth running of kitchen operations by ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available.
• Following all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations.
• Safely handling and disposing of waste and recycling.
• Being a reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Representing Restaurant Associates professionally and maintaining a positive brand image at all times.
