Job summary

Restaurant Associates UK is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter for the IWM Duxford venue on a zero-hour contract. The role involves supporting a busy kitchen, maintaining cleanliness, and helping with basic food tasks to ensure smooth service in a leading UK food service company.

You will work as part of a team, adhering to Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and COSHH guidelines while representing the brand professionally. On-site parking and staff meals are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment is desirable.
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Ensuring kitchen work areas, equipment, and storage spaces are kept clean, organised, and hygienic.
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required by the kitchen team.
• Supporting the smooth running of kitchen operations by ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available.
• Following all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations.
• Safely handling and disposing of waste and recycling.
• Being a reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Representing Restaurant Associates professionally and maintaining a positive brand image at all times.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to help us create exceptional food experiences for Restaurant Associates Venues on a zero hour contract basis.
