The Botanist Exeter, part of The New World Trading Company, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support a busy kitchen team. You’ll help maintain cleanliness, assist chefs and ensure the smooth running of service, laying the foundations for great hospitality.

No prior kitchen experience is required, but a good work ethic and team spirit help you thrive. We offer training, meals on shift, staff discounts across venues, and a supportive environment that values individuality and development.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and workspaces
• Supporting deliveries and stock organisation
• Assisting the kitchen team during service
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures
• Helping ensure the kitchen operates efficiently
