Job summary

Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. You'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly, safely and efficiently, by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and assisting with preparation and set-up.

In a fast-paced hospitality environment, you will support chefs, handle dishwashing, receiving deliveries, and ensure hygiene and food safety guidelines are followed. A hands-on team player who takes pride in their work will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and hygiene guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots and pans thoroughly.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised during the shift.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables.
• Receive, check and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies correctly.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety guidelines at all times.
