Job summary

Delaware North UK is recruiting a casual Kitchen Porter for Stadium of Light in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. You will support the kitchen team with dishwashing and back-of-house tasks, contributing to efficient service during events and match days.

The role requires reliability, teamwork and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced venue environment. No degree is required, and shifts are casual with opportunities to pick up additional hours.

Qualifications

• No degree required.
• Experience in catering/kitchen is beneficial.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash crockery, cutlery and light equipment using industrial machines and hand wash larger items.
• Assist the culinary team to ensure smooth and effective catering service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in food preparation and service areas.
• Assist with deliveries and ensure stock is replenished from stores and the kitchen as needed.
• Follow health, safety and food hygiene guidelines and Delaware North’s standards.
