Job summary

Novotel London Stansted is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. You will keep the kitchen clean, assist chefs, wash crockery and equipment, and help with prep in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a casual flexible contract with hourly pay from £11.50 to £12.75, free meals on duty, uniform which is cleaned, and employee benefits including discounts and parties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Wash all hotel crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Assist chefs with kitchen service preparation, e.g. cutting vegetables.
• Support the chefs with general kitchen tasks as needed.

A bit about what you will do…

Kitchen Porters are an integral part of our kitchen team. Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy while supporting the chefs with essential tasks.Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas. Washing all hotel crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment, food service equipment. Supporting the chefs with kitchen service preparation, cutting vegetables etc.
