Job summary

Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support a busy, award-winning kitchen environment under the Executive Chef. You will ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and canteen areas as well as maintaining a smooth and brisk turnaround on the production of clean cutlery and crockery.

The role involves early, late, and day shifts; weekends and bank holidays are part of the pattern. Being in a rural location, you will need your own transport to arrive on site and join a

Responsibilities

• Efficiently clean machinery and prevent breakages.
• Clean all kitchen areas according to schedule.
• Clean all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, trays, cutlery and crockery.
• Clear refuse from kitchen areas and empty bins as needed.
• Inform Kitchen Clerk when cleaning materials are needed.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
