About the role

Our Food and Beverage department is key in providing our passengers with a smooth and positive journey through our airport. Our Kitchen Porters play a pivotal part in the smooth running of the kitchen, ensuring that our passengers are sent off on their travels satisfied. Day to day, you will be:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and all preparation areas.
• Cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and utensils.
• Storing dishes and utensils.
• Supporting the Chef with food and dessert preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
• Organising the stock room.
• Embodying the Airport's ‘One Team’ culture and understanding that there may be times when you are required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
• Working any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

To undertake this role, you should have the following skills:

• Experience working in a kitchen (advantageous).
• Knowledge of food safety.
