Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres requires a Kitchen Porter to support our restaurant operations in a fast-paced setting. You will help with kitchen duties, cleaning, and ensuring meals are presented on time and to a high standard.

Applicants should have experience in food service and knowledge of hygiene and safety rules. Training and development opportunities are available as part of our team at Dobbies.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in food service.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Relevant food safety qualifications would be ideal.

Our Kitchen Porters play an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty food, ensuring food hygiene and maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties
• Ensure smooth running of restaurant operations including cleaning, dishwasher operations and equipment availability
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure your customers are presented with their meal to a high standard and on time
• Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens and health & safety
