Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support busy restaurant operations. You’ll help with general kitchen tasks, dishwashing, and keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean to ensure customers receive meals promptly and to a high standard.

Joining a friendly team, you’ll learn about dietary requirements, allergens and health and safety controls while contributing to a welcoming customer experience across our restaurant offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in food service.
• Knowledge of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Relevant food safety qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support general kitchen duties proactively.
• Ensure smooth restaurant operations including cleaning and dishwasher tasks.

Our Kitchen Porters play an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across our Restaurants - delivering tasty food, ensuring food hygiene and maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Working proactively and supporting general kitchen duties
• Ensure smooth running of restaurant operations including cleaning, dishwasher operations and equipment availability
• Working alongside the kitchen team to ensure your customers are presented with their meal to a high standard and on time
• Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens and health & safety

• Experience of working in food service
• Knowledge and understanding of kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules
