Job summary

KIBOU Restaurants Ltd is recruiting a part-time Kitchen Porter to join our fast-paced Japanese kitchen teams across our locations in Bristol, Cambridge, Oxford, Battersea, Cheltenham, Solihull and more. We offer excellent training in a supportive environment and opportunities for progression within a dynamic and growing business.

You’ll be part of a lively team, helping to maintain high standards in a busy kitchen and ensuring smooth operation during busy weekends.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Porter experience preferred.
• Friendly personality and ability to work in a motivated team.
• Interest in or knowledge of Japanese food and culture encouraged.

Job description

Part-time - 20-25hrs per week - Must be available at weekends

KIBOU is an independent Japanese restaurant and bar with restaurants in Battersea, Cheltenham, Bristol, Solihull, Oxford and Cambridge.

We offer an extensive menu showcasing a variety of Japanese cuisine, served from a Sushi and Hot Food kitchen. The environments we create are stylish and fun, and our primary focus is on growing a team of people who take pride in delivering a truly standout experience.

We’re looking for :

• Someone who thrives working in a fast-paced kitchen, all the while with a fun, lively and hard-working team of people around you.
• You’ll already have some Kitchen Porter experience under your belt, and if you can bring bags of enthusiasm and energy to the table with a willingness to learn about what we do here, we'd love for you to get in touch.
• A friendly personality and ability to work in a strong and highly motivated team are essential.
• If you have some interest in or knowledge of Japanese food and culture, we'd love to hear about it!
