Job summary

Loungers is hiring a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant for its Ritorno Lounge – part of Loungers. You’ll keep the kitchen clean and assist with food prep, helping the team deliver great meals with pride and consistency.

We offer up to £12.71/hr plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. It’s a busy, friendly kitchen with real opportunities for development and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or hospitality is helpful.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment, and washing up.
• Support the chefs with food prep during service and prep time.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times.

About the Kitchen Porter Role

We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our busy, friendly, supportive kitchen team. In this role, you’ll help keep the kitchen clean, safe, organised, and ready for service while also supporting our chefs with food prep when needed. It’s a simple but vital role. Without you, the kitchen doesn’t run properly. You’ll play a huge part in making sure the team can deliver freshly cooked food on spec, on time, every time.
