Job summary

Bents is recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our Dining Team over the festive period, delivering and maintaining high standards across our 1000-seat dining areas and supporting front of house. This hands-on role requires lifting heavy items; 16-hour contracts are weekend-only with flexible hours.

• Support dining team with pot wash and cleaning of crockery, ensuring high hygiene standards.
• Assist in preparing clean kitchen items for the Chef Brigade and maintain station readiness.
• Work collaboratively with Front of House and Kitchen teams to sustain 1000-seat dining areas.

We are recruiting for a Kitchen Portersto join our Dining Team at Bents over our festive period!

What is the Kitchen Porter role?

As a Kitchen Porterwithin our Dining Team you’ll be integral in the success of our Dining Pot Wash function. Working alongside the Front of house and Kitchen teams you’ll deliver and maintain high standards across all of our 1000-seater Dining areas.

Whether putting out a large tray of cultery, cleaning our large crockery items or preparing clean kitchen items for our Chef Brigade you will be at the heart of a busy catering team.

This role is very hands on and requires someone who has the ability to lift and move heavy kitchen items repetitively for long periods. It would be ideal for a hardworking, focused team player who can work under their own initiative.

The role we have available is:

An 16-hour contract, which is weekend-only.

A flexible approach to working hours is essential.

The role offers a rate of pay up to £12.71, in line with National Minimum Wageguidance.
