Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Kitchen Porter at Battlesbury Officer's Mess, Woodcock Road, Warminster, BA12 9DT. This role offers 20 hours per week, four days out of seven with early and late shifts on a rolling roster, and a starting rate of £12.71 per hour plus Sodexo benefits.

You will join a busy kitchen environment, support chefs, and help maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations. Training is provided, and full apprenticeships may be available as part of career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• 20 hours per week.
• 4 days out of 7 with early/late shifts.
• Full training provided – no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen, utensils, and equipment are kept clean and hygienic.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks when needed.
• Manage dishwashing and waste disposal efficiently.
• Keep stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Follow all food safety and health & safety regulations.
