Compass Group UK&I is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at a university setting. This role supports a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, and helps with basic food prep and delivery duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, food preparation areas and associated workspaces.
• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils to the highest standards.
• Supporting the team with basic food preparation activities.
• Assisting with the receipt, loading and unloading of deliveries when required.
• Using kitchen equipment and machinery safely and correctly.
• Following all health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
• Completing required training and development programmes.
• Providing general support to the catering team to help deliver an excellent food service.

As a Kitchen Porter, Your Responsibilities Will Include
