Job Description

Job Title: Kitchen Porter

Location: St Andrews

Contract: Full-time

As a Kitchen Porter, you will carry out all duties within the stewarding department and related areas in accordance with the standards set in the department's performance manual.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with the cleaning of operating equipment during banquet functions or peak periods in back-of-house areas related to the outlets.
2. Wash and polish all operating equipment and cooking utensils, examining cleanliness before distribution.
3. Distribute cleaned equipment to appropriate locations.
4. Clear all used operating equipment for washing according to the systems in use.
5. Store all cleaned items properly or distribute to various outlets.
6. Assist in preparing operating equipment for functions, inventories, and other requirements, and distribute accordingly.
7. Maintain standards of personal hygiene and grooming consistently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Right to Work in the UK.
