Job summary

Mercure Salisbury is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team. You will assist with food preparation areas, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and help with daily kitchen tasks in a friendly, inclusive environment.

No prior experience is required; the ideal candidate is eager to learn, has good communication, and works well within a team. This is a great entry role at a premier UK hotel, with opportunities to grow within the Accor portfolio.

Qualifications

Experience isn’t necessary; being friendly and keen to help in the kitchen is valued.
Able to display excellent communication and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Display excellent communication and follow instructions.
Adhere to food health & safety regulations while performing kitchen duties.
Clean and sanitize all meal prep areas, walls, stoves, sinks, ovens, tables and chairs.
Sweep and mop kitchen/bistro floors.
Wash dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils and cooking equipment.
Keep refrigerators, freezers and storage areas clean and organized.
Empty and re-line bins.

Be able to display excellent communication skills and follow instructions
