Job summary

The Inn Collection Group’s Amble Inn in Northumberland is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team, maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, and help keep the wash-up area and equipment clean.

You will work closely with colleagues and customers, show a positive attitude, and be flexible with general duties and basic food preparation. Age-related pay rates apply for Under 21s.

As Kitchen Porter, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen team by maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene. Your positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn will be essential as you manage the wash-up area, ensure kitchen equipment cleanliness, and assist with basic food preparation.

You’ll work closely with team members and customers, demonstrating confidence and courtesy in all interactions. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to personal presentation. You'll be responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly by following the cleaning schedule and taking on other general duties as directed.
