Job summary

The Ambleside Inn, part of The Inn Collection Group, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team with hygiene, washing up, and basic prep tasks. A positive attitude and reliability are essential as you help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen in a welcoming pub setting.

This role is on-site at The Ambleside Inn and offers opportunities to grow within our award-winning group, with a focus on team collaboration and delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As Kitchen Porter, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen team by maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene. Your positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn will be essential as you manage the wash-up area, ensure kitchen equipment cleanliness, and assist with basic food preparation.

You'll work closely with team members and customers, demonstrating confidence and courtesy in all interactions. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to personal presentation. You'll be responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly by following the cleaning schedule and taking on other general duties as directed.
