The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Kitchen Porter for The Stables at Whitby, a charming inn housed in a former 17th-century building with a courtyard of rooms and moor views. You’ll support the kitchen team by maintaining high food hygiene, managing the wash‑up area, and assisting with basic food preparation.

Flexibility, teamwork and a neat appearance are essential as you help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen team by maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene. Your positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn will be essential as you manage the wash-up area, ensure kitchen equipment cleanliness, and assist with basic food preparation.

You’ll work closely with team members and customers, demonstrating confidence and courtesy in all interactions. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to personal presentation. You’ll be responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly by following the cleaning schedule and taking on other general duties as directed.
