Job summary

Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team and ensure high standards behind the scenes. You will wash crockery, keep areas clean, and assist with deliveries and stock rotation.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, fast working pace, and strong attention to detail. No prior experience is required, but reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication with kitchen staff.

We’re Hiring: Kitchen Porter

Support our kitchen team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences at Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre.

We’re a busy 4-star hotel in the heart of Manchester, just minutes from Piccadilly Station, and we’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to support our chefs and maintain high standards across our kitchen operations.

What You’ll Do

Kitchen Support & Cleanliness:

• Wash and maintain all crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment, and utensils
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy, and compliant with hygiene standards
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and safely

Food Safety & Standards:

• Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
• Support the team in maintaining a safe and organised working environment
• Assist with deliveries and stock rotation when required

Teamwork & Efficiency:

• Work closely with chefs and the wider kitchen team
• Help ensure service runs smoothly by keeping equipment readily available
• Be proactive in supporting the team during busy service periods
