Spring Street Pizza is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen clean, safe and running smoothly. You will support washing up, cleaning down and general upkeep, helping the team deliver top-quality food night after night.

This is a 30 hour full-time role reporting to the Head Chef. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic prep, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organised under pressure.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• A team-player mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.

• Wash pots, pans, utensils, and equipment efficiently throughout service.
• Keep the kitchen, wash-up area, and storage spaces clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
• Support chefs with basic prep tasks as needed.
• Manage deliveries, storage, and stock rotation to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with kitchen procedures.
• Take ownership of bin management and waste disposal.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly.
• Contribute to a positive, hardworking kitchen culture and continuous improvement.

Role Overview

As a Kitchen Porter at Spring Street Pizza, you'll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards of cleanliness.
