Job description

Searcys is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the team at the HAC.

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter to assist the Kitchen Team with daily operations. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and supporting basic food preparation.

The HAC is a unique venue, a historic Georgian house set within a five-acre garden, offering diverse event spaces and outdoor areas in the heart of London.

Salary: £13.85 per hour

Hours: Flexible

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including sinks, countertops, and floors.
• Wash and sanitize utensils, dishes, and equipment.
• Keep storage areas clean and adhere to food safety standards.
• Assist with waste management and recycling.
• Support kitchen staff with food prep, such as washing vegetables and cutting ingredients.
• Organize and store kitchen supplies for easy access.
• Help unload deliveries and store items properly.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness. Ability to work well within a team is essential.
