Key Responsibilities:. Washing: Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. . Cleaning: Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment, ensuring a hygienic environment. . Food Preparation: Assisting with basic food preparation tasks like washing and chopping vegetables. . Waste Management: Emptying bins and managing waste disposal, including recycling. . Stock Management: Helping with deliveries and organizing storerooms and fridges. . Following Procedures: Adhering to health and safety regulations, including COSHH and hygiene standards. . Teamwork: Working effectively as part of the kitchen team. . Skills & Abilities:. Physical Stamina: The job can be physically demanding, requiring long hours and the ability to stand for extended periods. . Attention to Detail: Maintaining high levels of cleanliness requires a keen eye for detail. . Time Management: Being able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively is crucial. .
