Job summary

Leicester City Football Club is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to help keep the catering team operating efficiently at our world-class Training Ground in Seagrave. You will support chefs with basic prep, maintain hygiene standards, and assist with deliveries and storage.

A positive, can-do attitude, strong teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are essential for success in a busy professional kitchen environment.

Job description

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for helping to keep our kitchen operating efficiently and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your duties will include:

• Washing, sanitising and storing service ware and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards throughout food preparation and service areas.
• Cleaning work surfaces, walls, floors, ovens and kitchen equipment.
• Emptying and cleaning waste bins while managing recycling and rubbish disposal.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling and preparing ingredients.
• Receiving, unloading and storing deliveries correctly and safely.
• Organising and maintaining storage areas, refrigerators and freezers.
• Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
• Supporting colleagues across the kitchen team to create a positive and productive working environment.
• Upholding and promoting Club policies, procedures and values.
