Leicester City Football Club Ltd is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative (Housekeeping) to maintain the Training Ground to the highest standards. You will clean and sanitise all areas, service bedrooms, and support deep-cleaning tasks while adhering to COSHH and safety procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability and strong time management, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends and matchdays as needed in a high-performance setting.

Responsibilities

• carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, sanitising and waste removal
• maintain offices, communal areas, changing facilities, and other areas across the site
• undertake outdoor cleaning tasks, including litter picking, cleaning external bins, windows and surrounding areas
• service bedrooms and change linen when required
• complete scheduled deep-cleaning tasks
• conduct regular checks to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standard
• report maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns
• work in accordance with COSHH, Health & Safety requirements, and Club procedures
• support colleagues to deliver an exceptional environment across the Training Ground; evenings, weekends, matchdays and holidays may be required
• the role requires pride in work, keen eye for detail
• full UK driving licence and flexible approach to working hours

You will play an important role in ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for players, staff, guests, and visitors every day., As a Cleaning Operative (Housekeeping), you will help deliver a first-class cleaning service throughout the Training Ground, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.,

• Carrying out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, sanitising and waste removal
• Maintaining offices, communal areas, changing facilities, and other areas across the site
• Undertaking outdoor cleaning tasks, including litter picking, cleaning external bins, windows, and surrounding areas
• Servicing bedrooms and changing linen when required
• Completing scheduled deep-cleaning tasks
• Conducting regular checks to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standard
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns
• Working in accordance with COSHH regulations, Health & Safety requirements, and Club procedures
• Supporting colleagues to deliver an exceptional environment across the Training Ground, The role will require flexibility to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and public holidays when required.

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience

Desirable

• Recognised cleaning qualification, such as City & Guilds Cleaning and Support Services Skills
• Experience working with external contractors
• Knowledge of housekeeping auditing processes
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification
• Membership of a recognised cleaning institute or association
