Job summary

Marriott Leicester is seeking a dedicated hospitality professional to join our on-site team. You will deliver excellent guest service, support kitchen operations, and help maintain a clean and organized food preparation area.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.
• License or Certification: None required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen areasincluding countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, and sinks.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipmentor load them into the dishwasher.
• Maintain food storage areassuch as freezers and refrigerators, ensuring they are clean and organized.
• Receive and organise deliveriesof food and supplies.
• Dispose of kitchen wasteproperly and ensure trash containers are clean.
• Assist with basic food preparationtasks like peeling, cutting, and washing ingredients.
• Support chefs and kitchen staffby taking on additional tasks as needed.
• Ensure cooking equipmentsuch as mixers and cookers are clean and in working order.
