Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management is looking for a Kitchen Porter to keep the hotel kitchen running smoothly, clean and well organized, and to support the chefs during busy shifts.

You'll wash pots and utensils, assist with basic food prep, manage waste and stock storage, and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitise pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchen tools, making sure everything is ready for the next dish.
• Help with basic food prep tasks, like peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients, to support the chefs during busy shifts.
• Manage waste by disposing of rubbish, recycling, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Keep storage areas stocked, organised, and clean, ensuring supplies are easy to find and ready to use.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, helping to keep the kitchen stocked and organised.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards rigorously, contributing to a safe and spotless kitchen.
