Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our hotel kitchen operations in the United Kingdom. You will help keep the kitchen clean, sanitised and well-stocked, enabling chefs to deliver services efficiently.

Key tasks include washing pots and utensils, basic prep support, waste management and maintaining health and safety standards. We offer a varied benefits package and flexible working arrangements to suit staff needs.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen running by cleaning and organising equipment, utensils and workspaces.

• Assist with basic food preparation to support chefs during busy shifts.
• Manage waste and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Keep storerooms stocked, organised and clean so items are easy to find.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries to keep the kitchen stocked.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN PORTER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing... eep the kitchen running smoothly by cleaning and organising equipment, utensils, and workspaces.

• Wash and sanitise pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchen tools, making sure everything is ready for the next dish.
• Help with basic food prep tasks, like peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients, to support the chefs during busy shifts.
• Manage waste by disposing of rubbish, recycling, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Keep storage areas stocked, organised, and clean, ensuring supplies are easy to find and ready to use.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, helping to keep the kitchen stocked and organised.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards rigorously, contributing to a safe and spotless kitchen.
