Job summary

The Elvetham Hotel in Hook, Hampshire, part of Axiom Hospitality, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the busy kitchen team. No previous experience required; training provided.

You will perform general cleaning, operate pot-washing machinery, keep areas clean and safe, and contribute to a great guest experience. This is a permanent, full-time role offering £26,436.80 per year plus service charge and benefits.

The Elvetham Hotel is an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire, rich in history and set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens. The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800's AD. Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms.
We are looking for a hard-working, proactive and passionate Kitchen Porter to join our Truly Talented kitchen team!

Your role

You will be a key member of our kitchen team. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties and oversee the operation of pot-washing machinery, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, and help deliver an excellent guest experience while ensuring back-of-house areas are clean and Health & Safety guidelines are observed.
You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.
