Job summary

Phyllis Court Club, a private members club in Henley-on-Thames, is seeking a Kitchen Porter on a 40-hour week with shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The role reports to the Head Chef and ensures all kitchen areas, utensils and equipment are clean and ready for use.

You will work across kitchen sections, maintain high hygiene standards, and contribute to a positive, team-based environment with great discount perks and on-site facilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean all dishes, floors and equipment as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• All surfaces to be kept neat and tidy to minimize any potential safety issues
• Clean and operate the dish machine in a safe and cleanly manner, keeping good hygiene practices to the fore.
• Be aware of Health and Safety at Work and Hygiene regulations and report any irregularities to the Head Chef, Senior Sous Chefs or the Head of Operations.
• Practice good personnel hygiene at all times to comply with the Club’s policies.

About Phyllis Court Club

Phyllis Courtis a private members club situated in a grand riverside manor,set in 18 acres of land with 17 guest bedrooms on the River Thames in Henley-On-Thames and spectacular views over the river & the countryside beyond.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head Chef you will ensure all kitchen areas, utensils and equipment is clean, sanitised and ready to use.
