Qualifications

• Experience as a Kitchen Porter in hospitality or contract catering.
• Strong teamwork and communication with kitchen and FOH.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and pride in high cleanliness.
• Willing to assist with basic prep when required.
• Follows food safety and health & safety standards.
• Comfortable receiving deliveries and organizing stores.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all hospitality kitchens (wash-up, floors, equipment, BOH areas).
• Receive goods, check quality and dates, and report discrepancies.
• Store items correctly and follow FIFO rotation.
• Maintain clean, organised dry stores and fridges.
• Ensure chefs always have clean equipment, trays, boards and utensils ready for service.
• Support waste and recycling procedures across all kitchens.
• Assist with basic prep when required (training provided).
• Follow all ISS food safety, health & safety and manual-handling standards.
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter (hospitality or contract catering).
• Strong work ethic, reliability and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
