Job summary

Royal Hospital Chelsea is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our Catering team and help maintain cleanliness across our kitchens, dining areas, stores, and catering facilities. You will wash crockery, assist with basic prep, transport supplies, and ensure safe storage, working closely with chefs to support daily food service operations.

Training will be provided; prior catering experience is helpful but not required, and you will contribute to delivering an excellent dining experience

Responsibilities

• Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness in kitchens, dining areas, stores, and catering facilities.

• Assisting with basic food preparation and supporting chefs as required.
• Transporting food, supplies, and equipment between catering locations on site.
• Ensuring food deliveries are stored correctly and aiding stock organisation.
• Following all Food Hygiene, COSHH, and Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Are you hardworking, reliable, and looking to build a career in hospitality and catering? We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our Catering team and play a vital role in ensuring our kitchens and dining areas are maintained to the highest standards.

Working closely with our chefs and catering team, you will help create a clean, safe, and efficient environment while supporting daily food service operations across the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

What we're looking for

You will be a team player with a positive attitude, good attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment. Previous catering or kitchen experience would be beneficial, but is not essential as training will be provided.
