Job summary

Oxygen House Limited's OH Kitchen is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter for a six-month fixed-term contract in Exeter. Work 35 hours weekly, Monday to Friday daytime hours, with no weekend shifts. Start date is early December 2026 to help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

You will support chefs by keeping pots, pans and surfaces clean, receiving deliveries, managing waste, and following COSHH guidelines in a busy, vegetable-led kitchen.

• Wash and put away pots, pans, utensils, crockery and kitchen equipment throughout the day.
• Keep kitchen surfaces, floors, equipment and storage areas clean and tidy.
• Receive and store deliveries, ensuring good stock rotation practices are followed.
• Maintain clean and organised fridges, freezers and dry stores.
• Manage waste, recycling and compost streams correctly.
• Use cleaning products safely and follow COSHH guidelines.
• Report any maintenance, hygiene or safety concerns to the Sous Chef.
• Support the wider kitchen team with other reasonable duties as required.
