Job description

Searcys is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join one of its City-based venues, located near Barbican. The client in this venue is a globally renowned law firm.

This role is based on a B&I contract.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £13.85 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be flexible to work in all kitchens and areas of the venue.
2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all kitchen and service areas.
3. Organize and keep catering storage areas clean and orderly.
4. Receive, inspect, store, and dispense goods and equipment appropriately.
5. Assist with food preparation and service as needed.
6. Report incidents, accidents, or irregularities immediately and take appropriate action.
7. Report broken equipment to the Executive or Head Chef.

Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, commitment to hygiene, and teamwork skills are important qualities.
