Job Description

As our next Kitchen Porter, you will:

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Assist in proper storage and rotation of food items to ensure freshness and minimize waste
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage
  • Assist with waste and recycling disposal in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workstation, including floors, walls, and work surfaces
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper handling of ingredients
  • Observe excellent food hygiene practices throughout the food chain
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
