The Hoxton, Edinburgh

We are excited to open our first UK hotel outside of London in the vibrant city of Edinburgh. We are seeking a Linen Porter to join our team and play a vital role in launching our brand in this new location. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for providing efficient linen services within the hotel.

The Edinburgh hotel will feature 214 bedrooms inspired by the Georgian heritage of the building and city, including a new room category, a main restaurant, a spacious lobby & bar, a large event space, and The Apartment — our unique meetings and events concept.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily linen delivery, collection, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of exterior areas, including guest entrances and loading zones.
  • Report maintenance issues via Knowcross.
  • Stock linens and supplies on guest floors and in storage areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Adhere to health & safety standards, reporting breaches or hazards.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in accordance with COSHH regulations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and support the housekeeping team.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
  • Manage inventory for room items, ensuring availability and easy access.
  • Provide friendly, responsive customer service to guests.
  • Assist with cleaning other hotel areas as needed.
