Job summary

Balhousie Care Group is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team in delivering delicious, nutritious meals for residents in a care home. You will help maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment and assist with food preparation where needed, while following hygiene standards.

Formal qualifications are not required as training will be provided, and successful candidates will be subject to references, PVG checks and UK work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Reliability, consideration and care in a care home setting.
• Experience in a commercial or care setting would be beneficial (not required).
• PVG check and right to work in the UK are required for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team to prepare and serve meals for residents.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation and service as needed.

About You:

As a Kitchen Porter at BCG, you will be dedicated to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and will be eager to assist during the food preparation process. You should approach your work with reliability, consideration, and care. Formal qualifications are not required as training will be provided, although any experience in a commercial or care setting would be beneficial.

Successful candidates are subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check and must be authorised to work in the UK.
