Job summary

The Bath Priory invites applications for a Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. You will help keep the kitchen areas clean and orderly, enabling our chefs to prepare and serve meals smoothly.

Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; we value reliability, teamwork and a willingness to learn. A flexible approach to rotas and a positive attitude are important at The Bath Priory.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen areas clean and tidy, including equipment and surfaces.

LocationThe Bath Priory (part of the Brownsword family of hotels) has a great location in Bath, just a short walk from the city centre, with a bus stop right outside. The hotel is stunning, a Georgian house with 33 bedrooms built in honey- coloured Bath stone and is surrounded by four acres of multi- award-winning gardens. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be working as part of a passionate team of chefs. You will play a crucial part in keeping the kitchen areas clean and tidy.

Experience in a similar role is an advantage, although not essential.

• You’ll be an important part of this busy kitchen, as without clean plates, cutlery, and pots and pans, our chefs won’t be able to cook and serve their delicious meals.
• Being one team, everyone in the kitchen is responsible for keeping it clean.
