Job summary

The Walcot Group Limited in Bath is seeking a Kitchen Porter for Walcot House, our flagship site. You’ll keep the kitchen clean, wash pots, and support the chefs throughout service.

If you enjoy teamwork, working in a busy kitchen, and taking pride in putting things back in order, this role offers a friendly team, training, and staff discounts across Walcot venues.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, plates, trays and other kitchen kit.

Our KP's are the backbone of the kitchen. The person who keeps everything moving, clean and ready — so the chefs can focus on the food.

It’s not glamorous, but it is important. If you like being part of a team, keeping things spotless, and don’t mind getting stuck in, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing

• Washing pots, pans, plates, trays — all the kit.
• Keeping the kitchen clean and safe, floors to fridges.
• Jumping in to help the chefs with prep when needed.
• Making sure the place runs smoothly behind the scenes.
