Slug And Lettuce, part of Stonegate Group, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen team at Slug And Lettuce in South Manchester. You will uphold high standards of food and safety, coach staff, and shape kitchen operations to drive growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team coaching experience.
• Strong food knowledge and culinary skills.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S and legal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard new team members in an inclusive manner.
• Lead, guide and develop kitchen team with training opportunities.
• Maintain high kitchen hygiene and safe, organised workspace.
• Manage kitchen schedule to optimise staffing and labour costs.
• Conduct regular stock checks to control costs and meet targets.
• Build relations between kitchen and front-of-house to drive sales.
