Job summary

Old Moat House is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen, inspire the team and deliver high standards of food. You will manage all kitchen operations, including ordering, preparation, and stock control, while upholding health and hygiene regulations.

You will drive guest satisfaction and sales, work with a branded menu, and support the brand’s values and quality across all dishes.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or senior chef leading a kitchen team.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Solid understanding of health and hygiene regulations and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to deliver high-quality food.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction with your team.
• Manage kitchen operations including food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Work with a branded menu and ensure compliance with brand standards.
